23 Apr Carl Morrison retires after 40 years

Carl Morrison has announced his retirement as Building Maintenance Supervisor effective April 30th.

What began as a two week commitment eventually turned into four decades of service. Carl has seen a number of changes in our facilities, people, our town, and ministries to our community. He began his service under the pastorate of Rev. Sam Dean and Church Administrator Jo Anne Swann. I’m grateful he was on staff upon my arrival.

Carl has maintained our building and grounds effectively and well, and we are grateful for his faithfulness through the years. The church staff enjoying honoring him with a lunch at his favorite restaurant and a gift card to his go to store–Home Depot.

We thank God for his faithfulness and friendship, and wish him all the best in retirement (and enjoy those grandchildren!)–DC
