First Baptist Church WEE Ministry is a Non-Profit, Christian based daycare that is licensed by the Department of Human Service abiding by all Local, State, and Federal regulations.
Wee Ministry is a non-profit ministry of First Baptist Church – Clinton, Tennessee, established in 1978 for parents of Children 16 months – 6th Grade. WEE Ministry is a fully licensed daycare and abides by all local, state, and federal regulations. Our goal is to provide an affordable, Christ-centered daycare for young families in the Clinton and Anderson County area.
- We have met the needs of the community by providing child care since 1978.
- We strive daily to meet the needs of not only the child, but the entire family in today’s busy society.
- We recognize children need the total growing experience physically, emotionally, psychologically, and intellectually.
- We work closely with the local elementary schools in preparing our Pre-Kindergarten students for their transition into the Kindergarten learning experience.
Our school age program is located in the new First Baptist Church Family Life Center with classroom doors connected directly to the gym. The school age groups stay very busy during the summer participation in various learning activities, special guest visitors and fun field trips.

- Elementary for Kindergarten – Sixth Grade
Reminders
Make sure your child has a seasonal change of clothing to be kept at daycare at all times. Toys are not to be brought to daycare unless there is a special toy day.
Emergency Drills
If for any reason we have to evacuate the building and/or premises these are our three places of relocation. Please be sure to document these with phone numbers or keep this newsletter somewhere you can get to in case you need it. in the 30 years we have been here we have never had to evacuate for any reason. Our emergency plan is set up just in case. Examples of reason to evacuate are: weather, electrical problem, chemical spills, heating/air problems etc.
- Evacuations because of problems with the pre-school building: We will relocate to the FBC Family Life Center. 457-4911
- Evacuations because of site problems will be Second Baptist Church. 457-8883
- Evacuations for more than five miles from site is Clinch River Baptist Church in Lake City: 426-2480.
