Happy New Year! We have turned a calendar page and have begun 2021. With the beginning of a new year comes the arrival of hopes and expectations of better and brighter days ahead.

One of the ongoing concerns regarding the Volunteer State is that we are ground zero for the spread of the COVID-19 virus. There are more cases per capita in our state than other place in the nation. And, there remains an expectation of a spike in cases following the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

A few weeks ago, Governor Bill Lee gave a coronavirus update in which he limited the number of people who should gather for indoor events. As such, our church will continue to meet online (only) through Sunday, January 17th. Even though churches are exempt from this mandate, it is important to be mindful that we are part of the broader community and can offer support to this urgent request.

Our church will be informed of any additional changes to our gathering schedule as needed–DC
